COMPANY PROFILE
"The other Borneo has boardwalks. Ours has a river."
For travel agents, tour operators, and trade partners worldwide. Tanjung Puting National Park, Central Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo.
The Company at a Glance
A wildlife operator that lives where the road ends.
There Are Two Borneos.
One has boardwalks, buses and visitor caps. The other still runs on river time.
What we sell is a wooden riverboat called a klotok, a crew who grew up on the water, and a few days on the Sekonyer looking for one of the last wild orangutan populations left anywhere. Guests live on the boat: cruising between forest visits, watching from the deck, eating what the onboard cook makes, and sleeping under mosquito nets on the upper deck under the stars.
We are a small, conservation-led operator rather than a volume one. Our guides are licensed naturalists from these rivers, our captains and cooks come from Kalimantan, and their knowledge is the product — not an add-on to it. Every departure runs to strict wildlife-ethics standards: respectful distance, nothing touched or fed outside ranger protocols, and no staged encounters.
A New Company. Not New People.
Registered in 2026. What is new here is the name painted on the boat. Between them, the founders bring more than twenty years in business and a decade inside small-boat expedition travel.
ANTON AREM
✝In MemoriamAnton was born and raised in Kotawaringin Barat and spent his life on these waters. He founded and managed his own travel agency serving the domestic market; the boat captains, licensed naturalist guides, and river cooks we charter today are the trusted people he worked alongside for decades. Every single itinerary we operate was pioneered on this water through his lifelong dedication to Tanjung Puting.
MARTAHAN TAMPUBOLON
Attorney at law and serial entrepreneur, and the company's legal conscience. Martahan handles trade contracts, permits and licensing, vendor agreements and partner relations — the paperwork that decides whether a partnership actually holds.

STEFAN HARIJONO
Fifteen-odd years in multinational management, most recently as a Director at LiveAboard.com, selling small-boat wildlife and diving expeditions to customers worldwide. Stefan leads commercial strategy, customer experience, and the technology systems behind both.
Tanjung Puting: The Wilder Side of Borneo
415,000 hectares of blackwater rivers, peat swamp, and lowland rainforest on Borneo's southern coast.
Tanjung Puting protects one of the last strongholds of the wild orangutan. The park is known worldwide through Camp Leakey, yet receives roughly sixty thousand international visitors a year — a fraction of what comparable primate destinations receive, which is why a trip here still reads as an unhurried expedition rather than a queue.

Protecting the Wild Is Half of Our Name
“The orangutans survive when their forest is worth more standing than cleared.”
That is why we partner directly with FNPF and Tanjung Lestari on our Sekonyer Village and Jerumbun visits. We fully support their efforts for reforestation and to support the local communities around the national park. For each visitor that visits Jerumbun and Sekonyer Village on one of our trips, we donate directly to both FNPF and Tanjung Lestari.
